Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulla Al Kooheji serves as Chairman of the Board of Tanmeya Capital, bringing more than four decades of experience in corporate banking, investment structuring, financial advisory, and governance. His expertise spans Islamic finance, structured finance, investment banking, and asset management, supported by extensive executive and board-level experience across the GCC.

Throughout his career, Mr. Al Kooheji has held senior leadership positions at prominent financial institutions, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer of International Leasing & Investment Company, Assistant General Manager at ABC Islamic Bank, and Head of Structured Finance at Shamil Bank of Bahrain. His experience includes structuring and syndicating investments across international markets, with successfully completed transactions exceeding USD 300 million.

Mr. Al Kooheji has also served on the boards of Khaleeji Commercial Bank, United Capital Bank in Sudan, and Elaf Bank, contributing to risk management, audit oversight, and corporate governance. This combination of executive leadership and board experience informs his approach to strategic oversight and his continuing role as Chairman of Tanmeya Capital’s Investment & Credit Committee.

Mr. Al Kooheji holds an Executive Management Diploma from the University of Bahrain and a Banking Diploma from the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance.
